FRP Molded Grating is a high-strength structural panel made with E-Glass roving and thermosetting resin, casted and formed in a specialized metal mold. It offers numerous advantages such as lightweight design, exceptional strength, corrosion resistance, fire resistance, and anti-skid properties. This makes it ideal for various industries including oil, power engineering, water & waste water treatment, and ocean survey. It serves as a reliable working floor, stair tread, and trench cover in corrosive environments.

Our FRP Molded Grating has undergone rigorous third-party tests to ensure its fire and mechanical properties meet industry standards. As a result, it is highly regarded and widely accepted worldwide.
FRP grating is constructed by embedding fiberglass strands or rovings in a resin matrix, typically polyester, vinyl ester, or epoxy. This combination produces a robust and corrosion-resistant grating solution. Fibergrate is a reputable supplier of fiberglass grates, offering a range of options including molded grating and pultruded grating. These grates are available in various sizes and can be customized to suit specific project requirements.
Whether for industrial, commercial, or residential applications, FRP grating provides a durable and low-maintenance solution for flooring, walkways, platforms, and other structural needs. Its versatility and reliability make it a preferred choice in demanding environments.

Molded grating process:
Molded grating is manufactured by laying continuous glass fibres in the mould in the direction of vertical and horizontal, and thurougly wetted out with resin, layer by layer. When the weaving process is completed, the mould is heated to cure the panel. After curing, the panel is ejected from the mould. The standard panel would have meniscus (concave) top surface. Any process such as post applied grit could be bonded after as a secondary operation. This continuous process produces an integral, one piece panel, which offers excellent corrosion resistance as well as bi-directional strength.Molded grating is a type of grating that is manufactured by laying continuous glass fibers in the mold in both vertical and horizontal directions, and thoroughly wetting them out with resin, layer by layer.
