Drywall Corner Bead Tape and Corner Bead are essential materials for installing drywall corners. The Drywall Corner Bead Tape is perfect for protecting corners and angles that are 90 degrees, preventing any damage. It is highly durable and resistant to rust. The Protective Metal Strip included in the tape consists of an aluminum strip or steel with a zinc finish.
On the other hand, Corner Bead is made with high-quality paper and reinforced with two metal strips, either galvanized steel or aluminum. This corner bead is designed for easy application and provides long-lasting protection for corners. It is even easier to use than traditional metal corner bead.
Both the Drywall Corner Bead Tape and Corner Bead come in rolls, making them convenient to merchandise and transport. This packaging also reduces waste and cost as customers can cut only the size they need.

Drywall Corner Bead Tape How to use:
1. Cut flexible metal corner tape or drywall corner bead into one of the two strips using a knife to score and bend. The distance between cuts will depend on the desired tightness of the radius.
2. Apply a generous coat of joint compound, covering both sides of the corner at the same time to a depth of 1/8".
3. Fold the tape or bead at the center margin with the metal facing the wall, and firmly press it into the compound.
4. Remove any excess compound with a taping knife once the corner is embedded.
5. Allow the first coat to dry, then lightly sand it before applying a finish coat. Feather the edges two inches beyond the edges of the first coat.
6. If necessary, apply a second coat 6"-10" wide on each side of the corner.
7. Once the second coat is dry, lightly sand if needed.
8. The wide, galvanized steel strips of the corner bead or tape act as a guide to ensure straight, reinforced angles for both "inside" and "outside" corner needs.
